The "2009 National Security and Nonproliferation Briefing Book" was prepared by the Peace and Security Initiative and released in November 2008. Included in the briefing book are the pieces "Taking Nuclear Forces Off Day-to-Day Alert," by WSI President Bruce Blair and CDI Senior Analyst Victoria Samson, and "Missile Defense," by CDI Senior Adviser Philip Coyle.
